Dry The River's new single, Weights and Measures is taken from their new EP of the same name, which will be released on November 14th through RCA. Their debut album will be released in early 2012. Dry the River will be playing a series of UK dates throughout November 2011 and January 2012.
Peter Liddle (vocals / guitar); Matt Taylor (guitar); Scott Miller (bass); Will Harvey (violin) and Jon Warren (drums) make up Dry The River. Formed in 2009, the band is now based in Stratford, East London. The band is influenced by Bruce Springsteen; Leonard Cohen; Neil Young and Devendra Banhart.
Dry The River has already played at prestigious music festivals such as SXSW, Reading and Leeds and Glastonbury; they have also supported the Bombay Bicycle Club on their UK tour. Dry The River has also performed sets at Barfly; The Lexington and Brixton Hall.
Their Weights and Measures EP was produced with the help of Peter Kastis, who has worked with Interpol and The National.
