London singer Dacha Greco presents her debut single 'Basement 3' in the form of this dusty slow-mo video. The track has been penned and produced by the UK musician, who wrote it in the modest setting of her garden shed.
A slightly hippy looking Greco stars in her new video, which sees two men racing on dirt bikes as powdered paint blows everywhere. The racers proceed to have a sword fight, before the final scene shows Greco herself riding out into the dust. It may be an ambiguous debut, but it's a perfect visual representation of the energy and vibrancy of the song which is led by Greco's seductively breathy vocals, a heavy drum beat and uplifting synth hooks.
Greco has been compared to the likes of Imogen Heap and Marina and the Diamonds with her new release, and it's unsurprising with such distinctive vocals and the talent to work through every area of her music's production solo. Over a period of two years, she has been using a simple garden shed as her production studio, armed with a piano, four guitars and two drum kits, and on listening to 'Basement 3', it seems the hard work has paid off.
