Chris Pureka presents a video for her new track 'Wrecking Ball', taken from her third album 'How I Learned To See In The Dark' which will be released in Europe on March 3rd 2014 through German label Haldern Pop, having previously been released independently via Sad Rabbit Music.
Melody Murray directed the video, which features Chris spending time in a dusty, dilapidated house while repeatedly toying with a gold pocket watch between cut scenes of her and her band performing the track. It's a largely acoustic number with drawling, melancholy vocals, and that contrast next to a fast rhythm gives it a classic country vibe.
Chris has been busy with releases both in the US and Europe and has several tour dates lined up over the coming months. The rest of February 2014 sees her take to Germany for a stretch, while March sees her extend the dates throughout Europe and the UK with a handful of North American dates thrown in come April.
