Edinburgh folk musician Aaron Wright will be releasing his new single 'Proper Chronic Lonely' on July 31st 2015, taken from his second studio album 'Flying a Machine', and has now arrived with a black and white video.
The visual stars Shaun Williamson (more commonly known as Barry from 'EastEnders') who is looking anguished in a bare, dilapidated room, occasionally sipping a cup of tea and hugging himself on the floor as Wright plays the acoustic guitar in the corner. The pain poured in this song of loneliness is expressed simply, the melancholy accentuated by the whining guitars - though there's a strange air of peace and comfort associated with the fast folk rhythm.
Aaron Wright's new album sees him once again collaborating with his debut album's producer Francis MacDonald, who also plays drums on the record. His first album back in 2011 became a critically acclaimed success, leading him to join Paul Heaton in his 2012 touring opera 'The 8th' and he even returned to his birth nation for Canadian Music Week.
