Victoria Beckham claims her spring/summer 2011 collection is designed to celebrate curvier women in dresses that ''allow freedom of movement''.
Victoria Beckham's latest clothing collection is for "the curves of a woman's figure".
The singer-turned-fashion designer - who unveiled her fifth collection during New York Fashion Week on Sunday (12.09.10) - revealed the range of dresses was made to help Women look and feel their best.
She said: "What's alluring for me this season are the curves of a woman's figure - sensual volume and a defined silhouette that allows for freedom of movement."
The runway show also debuted Victoria's first bag creations, and she was overheard saying at The Fashion show: "A Beckham can replace your Birkin."
Other designers to have showcased their spring/summer 2011 ranges include Alexander Wang, who had both Lily Cole and Agyness Deyn on the catwalk, and Michelle Obama's designer of choice Jason Wu whose show included tulip skirts, floor-length dresses and chiffon blouses.
Crystal Renn also made a runway appearance for Zac Posenn, and confessed she was excited to work for him.
She said: "I'm freaking out. Zac is one of the ones you want. Zac, Calvin and Marc are the big three. I booked one of my three."
