The 40 year-old fashion designer is giving fans a chance to own an item of her own personal illustrious fashion collection.
Life after the Spice Girls has been very good for Victoria Beckham as she quickly established herself as a very respectable fashion designer, mainly for her sense of style. Undoubtedly the 40 year-old's wardrobe will be bursting with the most glamorous garments and designs imaginable.
Victoria plans to sell off 600 items of clothing to raise money for charity
And now, the former pop star is giving her fans a chance to own some of her most sought after, memorable fashion items as she is planning to auction off at least 600 different pieces of her wardrobe to raise money for charity.
This venture all started when Beckham visited South Africa to meet the charity mothers2mothers, an organisation that supports mothers carrying HIV, and as she was so moved by her trip, Beckham decided to help donate money and raise awareness of their cause.
To help sell her clothes, Posh Spice has collaborated with THEOUTNET.com to sell the 600 items, and raise money for moters2mothers.
"I laughed a lot when we were going through my wardrobe as the pieces hold so many happy memories for me, David and the children," said Beckham. "A lot of the clothes have been specially designed for me by the most talented designers and I've loved wearing them, however I now feel it's someone else's turn to enjoy them."
Adding, "We approached The Outnet, part of The Net-a-Porter Group, as they have an incredible global reputation and are the perfect partner for us to build awareness and raise as much money as possible for mothers2mothers."
Could this outfit be up for sale?
These aren't just any pieces of clothing either, Victoria has purposely picked some of her most iconic outfits, ranging from her Spice Girls attire, items she was photographed in with David Beckham, and from fashion shows, red carpets events, award ceremonies etc.
"We are thrilled to be working with Victoria Beckham and her team on this very exciting charity event," said Stephanie Phair, President of THEOUTNET.com. "From the start, THEOUTNET.com has defined itself by its strong relationships and collaborations with designers in luxury fashion and we are confident we can draw an enormous amount of interest for these iconic items and raise awareness for mothers2mothers."
