Victoria Beckham and husband David Beckham are expecting their fourth child in the summer, it has been confirmed today (10th January 2011). The celebrity couple have recently spoken of their intentions to add to the family, and their three sons Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz are said to be "very excited" by the news, reports the UK's Daily Mail.
Speculation began to intensify over the Christmas period after Victoria joined her former Spice Girls band-mate Emma Bunton at a party thrown by Gordon Ramsey, choosing to drive home at the end of the evening. The 36-year-old singer turned fashion designer speaks in the forthcoming February issue of 'Vogue' about the possibility of having a little girl, saying, "Maybe one day another baby, but at this stage I think the chances of a girl are quite slim". The news was met by a wave of congratulatory messages on Twitter, with pop star KYLE MINOGUE posting, "WOW... congratulations to Victoria Beckham and David... fourth child on the way". British actress Amanda Holden tweeted, "Great News that the Beckham's are expecting their 4th child! Hope they get a pink one!".
The couple, who married back in 1999, now live in Beverly Hills after David signed for the 'Los Angeles Galaxy' back in 2007. Last month, the footballer spoke about the importance of his family during a touching speech at the 'Sports Personality of the Year Awards' in the UK. The 35-year-old was accepted the prestigious 'Lifetime Achievement Award'.
