Vanessa Hudgens says 'Sucker Punch' filmmaker Zack Synder is an "amazing director".Vanessa Hudgens, the American actress who plays the street smart 'Blondie' in the fantasy-adventure 'Sucker Punch', says she trusted the movie's director Zack Synder with her "whole heart", reports OnTheRedCarpet.com.Hudgens stars alongside Emily Browning and Abbie Cornish in the highly anticipated new movie, which hits screens in the U.S today (25th March 2011). 45-year-old Synder is renowned for his special effects style, but Hudgens says she didn't find acting with a green screen too daunting, saying, "You think there would be a lot more green screen than there actually is. Zack is an amazing director, he provided us with so much. You trust him and he gives you so much information, so much knowledge of what's going on around you, that you actually have a sense of what's happening. I love him, we all trust him with our whole hearts". Despite establishing herself as one of the most exciting talents in Hollywood, Hudgens says she still had audition for the role of 'Blondie', saying, "I put a lot of work into it. The part wasn't offered to me. I went in, I did several reads - I think about four. And when I got the call, oh my god. Happiest girl alive".
Vanessa Hudgens, who split with her long-time boyfriend Zac Efron last year, says she is still "friends" with the actor. She is rumoured to be dating her 'Journey 2' co-star JOSH HUTCHERSON.
