House duo Bizarre Inc is set to re-release their classic debut single 'Playing With Knives' in honour of the 25th anniversary of their label Vinyl Solution on September 2nd 2013. It has been remixed by a number of artists including Utah Saints.
The new video for the release features clips from some of the biggest live shows of the 90s with kids raving to their hearts content. The song features a crescendo laden, heavy electronic intro that is repeated throughout the song between an infectiously anthemic melody and acid house style, resonant vocals.
The track is set to be digitally re-released alongside the entire back catalogue of the Vinyl Solution label which also includes artists such as Eon, Gunshot, Jon Roca aka Midi Rain, Rio Rhythm Band, The Senseless Things and Stupids. Bizarre Inc first formed in 1989 with British DJs Dean Meredith and Mark Archer before Archer was later replaced by Andrew Meecham and Carl Turner on his departure. As well as 'Playing With Knives', they are also known for their US Dance Chart number one singles 1993's 'Took My Love' and 1992's 'I'm Gonna Get You' - the latter of which also reached number 3 in the UK charts.
