R&B star Usher is to be honoured with an award in recognition of his charity work.
The Yeah! hitmaker will be presented the Philanthropy Freedom Award from bosses at the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, Tennessee next month (Nov11) in honour of his work with his New Look Foundation.
The organisation helps youngsters get certificates in leadership skills and also raised funds for victims of 2005's Hurricane Katrina and the Haiti earthquake.
His fellow recipients will be sports star Bill Russell and actress Cicely Tyson.
