The release was delayed by lack of sales in the US when the single 'Pop Ya Collar' was released, despite the track being a number two hit in the UK. The first two singles to be released from the newly re-jigged album were 'U Remind Me' and 'U Got It Bad', both of which reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The album sold over seven million copies across the globe and was certified quadruple platinum. In 2002, Usher repeated his 'Best Male R&B Vocal Performance' Grammy win; this time for 'U Don't Have To Call'. Usher was only the third artist to have achieved this double win, alongside Luther Vandross and Stevie Wonder. Later that year, Usher provided vocals for P. Diddy's 'I Need A Girl, Part I'. Things were made even more difficult when Foster insisted on gaining custody of Usher V after he got stuck in a drain in his father's pool and was taken to hospital. The case was later dismissed. The awkward moment when your emoji isn't big enough.
Here's one unsolicited nude pic you might be grateful for; Usher decided to bare all for his fans on Snapchat yesterday (April 28th 2016) with a full-frontal shot of himself with his member on show. He tried to cover it up with an emoji but ermm... said emoji wasn't big enough.
Usher goes nude for Snapchat
We're not sure whether this was a deliberate mistake or not (he might be all like, 'Hey, even an emoji can't hide it!') but we're going to go with not. It seemed he wanted to do a bit of a Kim Kardashian by revealing his naked form to his fans with strategically placed cover-ups, but he probably could've done with another emoji because the majority of his manhood was still visibly on show - including, not to sound crass but, the tip.

The R&B superstar is back to his best
It could be said that veteran R&B star, Usher, has been fading from the musical limelight after an underperforming seventh studio album, Looking 4 Myself, released in 2011, a postponed eighth offering and a plethora of fresh, new talent rising through the ranks.
Usher wowed London crowds at O2 Arena with his big hits
So, at the ripe old age of 36 after revealing he has been in the moonwalking and body-popping game for a grand total of 23 years - could this once fierce juggernaut of American tunes regain his fire during the final outing of his URX (Usher Raymond Experience) Tour at 02 Arena last night?

It seems the R&B star knows exactly how to deal with the Canadian singer's bad boy antics.
It seems the way Usher handles dealing with Justin Bieber's bad boy antics is by showing him some tough love. The R&B star fully understands his protégé's behaviour hasn't been the best in the past couple of years, and he definitely won't stay silent about it.
Usher has been Bieber's mentor since he was first discovered, aged 13
"I'm not happy with all the choices my friend has made," Usher said to Billboard when talking about Bieber.
Usher gets into an energetic live performance during a set on NBC's 'Today' show as part of the Toyota Summer Concert Series. He is seen dancing with some lucky fans and slapping their hands as he parades around in all white, clutching a gold microphone, before returning to the stage with his backing dancers.
Following last year's interesting performance involving Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke, the MTV Video Music Awards are going to be under the watchful eye of the Parent's Television Council.
The line-up for MTV's VMAs has been announced, and now it's time to take bets as to whether this year will serve as any less controversial than last year, following the infamous 'Miley-gate' incident. The performing artists include Jessie J, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande Usher, 5 Seconds of Summer, Maroon 5, Beyonce, Taylor Swift and Sam Smith.
Nicky Minaj is to sing with Ariana Grande and Jessie J for the opeing act of the VMAs
Last year's MTV Video Music Awards sparked off some controversy due to Miley Cyrus' 'seductive' twerking on the then married Robin Thicke while wearing only her underwear and making provocative gestures with a giant foam finger. Then again, controversy is big money these days so if anything, the draw of this year's VMAs is seeing if they will top last year's antics.

The victim was in stable condition as of Sunday night.
BET Awards weekend started with a tragedy this year, when a guest at Meek Mill’s pre-awards party ended up in hospital with stab wounds. The incident took place on Saturday night, June 28, at Lure nightclub. Meek Mill was hosting a rousing pre-BET bash, when a fight broke out. The 20-something man was rushed to Cedars-Sinai hospital, but TMZ has obtained footage of him laying on the curb waiting for help while a friend yells at the police officers to hurry the ambulance.
Meek Mill himself was not directly involved in the brawl.
The man incurred two stab wounds in the stomach, but his condition is stable, the website also reports. The reason for the fight has not been uncovered so far. The man’s identity and that of his attacker are being withheld. The party was also attended by The Game, Lil Boosie, Mase and actress Kyla Pratt.
On the eve of the award show, BET has announced a performance by Lifetime Achievement honoree Lionel Richie.
It’s almost time for the BET awards and tonight’s show promises some memorable moments. Lionel Richie has been tapped to perform during the annual award show, as well as being this year’s Lifetime Achievement honoree. He joins this year’s lineup, which also includes stars like Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Robin Thicke, Pharrell Williams, Nicki Minaj, John Legend and Drake.
Richie is being honored for over four decades of transformational music.
Currently in the fifth decade of his career, Richie’s list of achievements is quite impressive. He has sold over 100 million albums worldwide and won five Grammy awards. His music has changed the face of soul and R&B, but Richie frequently crosses genre lines to experiment with pop, soft rock and even country.

Justin Bieber has apparently turned to God following his recent racism blunders.
There’s no better way of proving your penitence than going all out and getting yourself baptised. That’s Justin Bieber’s latest move in the whole racism saga anyway, because what better way to show how sorry you are than to get dunked in some water.
Justin Bieber was allegedly baptised in a bathroom by one of his friends
Bieber actually took the plunge (pun intended) before the videos surfaced and he was in the midst of being extorted. Perhaps he hoped that a baptism would lead to a bit of good karma (conflicting ideologies, but you get where we’re going with this). The baptism allegedly look place in a New York bathroom. As rooms go, they are famed for their spiritual qualities.

The 35 year-old singer has publically defended Bieber over the racist comments he made in two leaked pieces of footage from several years ago.
Usher has definitely got Justin Bieber's back.
The 35 year-old singer has kept fairly quiet about the pop star's recent racism scandal, but he has finally spoke out by defending Bieber.
Usher, who signed the 20 year-old to his record label at the age of 13, took to Instagram to post a lengthy statement about the racist comment's Bieber made in two leaked clips.

Just a confused kid? Usher defends Justin Bieber against accusations of racism.
It will take more than an apology – even a really good one – to mend the gaping holes in Justin Bieber’s reputation after the video of him using racist slurs and offensive humor was leaked. But maybe Justin’s mentor – that’s Usher, if you’ve missed the last five years in pop culture – can help?
According to Usher, Bieber doesn't deserve the racism-related backlash.
The rapper/producer stepped in on Saturday to defend his protégé. He did so, fittingly, via Instagram. Posting a picture of himself with the Biebz, Usher wrote the following (excellently worded) statement: "As I have watched Justin Bieber navigate difficult waters as a young man, I can tell you that he hasn't always chosen the path of his greatest potential, but he is unequivocally not a racist."
