Paranormalist Uri Geller has tipped CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY star Johnny Depp to play him in a future biopic. The celebrity spoon-bender has already been immortalised in Ken Russell's twisted 1996 movie MINDBENDER, in which unknown actor ISHAI GOLAN played out his life alongside Terence Stamp. But Geller insists it is time for an up-to-date reworking of his incredible life story, and hopes Depp would be interested in taking on the task. He says, "It's time for a serious movie. Ken Russell's version was great but very exaggerated. "Johnny Depp would absolutely be my first choice to play me."
