Celebrated ballad writer DIANE WARREN has found an unlikely new muse in KID ROCK's sidekick Uncle Kracker.
Songwriter Warren, who penned Aerosmith mega-hit I DON'T WANT TO MISS A THING, has written reconciliation tune RESCUE for Uncle Kracker, and he's set to release it as his next single.
He says, "It was weird. I had never met Diane, but she played it for me over the phone, and I was like, 'Wow!'
"If I hadn't just come out of an almost-divorce I wouldn't have done the song, because it wouldn't have had anything to do with me."18/06/2004 09:09
