Uma Thurman has welcomed her third child, a baby-girl, according to US Weekly magazine. The Kill Bill star, 42, is already a parent to 13-year-old Maya and 10-year-old Levon, from her marriage to ex-husband Ethan Hawke.
Thurman's latest child - with financier beau Arpad Busson - was born on Sunday (July 15, 2012), though the all-important name is yet to be revealed. The choice of 'Maya' for her first daughter suggests Thurman will join the ranks of celebrities opting for interesting baby names, though won't delve into the realm of the unusual - we're looking at you Gwyneth Paltrow. It's been a rollercoaster ride for Thurman and Busson, who called off their engagement in 2009, but reunited last year. After announcing the pregnancy, a source said, "Uma was definitely not planning on having another kid. It was a surprise. But she's over the moon about it, very excited". Ethan Hawke, 31, has also had more children since splitting from Thurman, and is now a father to younger daughters Clementine, 3, and Indiana, 11 months, with wife Ryan Shawhughes.
Thurman may find herself reprising the role of The Bride in the Kill Bill movies, after Quentin Tarantino gave the coy response of "We'll see", in response to a question about a third film at Comic-Con this week. In the meantime, the actress will star in the family movie 'Eloise in Paris', based on the classic 1950s children's book by Kay Thompson.
