U2, Girls Aloud and boyband Take That are moving into the fast lane - they groups have been lined up to perform at a number of Formula 1 auto races.
The announcement of the bands' shows come after their record label Universal Records struck a deal with the car sports bosses to stage live performances at grands prix across Europe.
The concert series, F1 Rocks, will run in tandem to the championship races and will also feature stars from the worlds of film, fashion and sport.
F1 president Bernie Ecclestone says, "I've always said we are in the entertainment business and this deal marks a new dimension for Formula 1. I have high hopes for it."
