Singer Tyrese and rapper Sticky Fingaz will stage a free concert in Namibia to thank locals for their hospitality during the shoot of upcoming remake THE Flight Of The Phoenix.

Tyrese and the Onyx rapper - along with actor DENNIS QUAID - spent four months in the country filming the updated version of the 1965 movie, which originally starred James Stewart, Richard Attenborough and HARDY KRUGER.

And the musicians became so fond of Namibia and the coastal town of Swakopmund, they've will express their thanks via a concert in the town on Sunday (29FEB04).

Tyrese says, "We want to show our gratitude to the generous people of Namibia with this concert, which is for free. Now that I have Africa back in my blood, I have been blessed with wonderful memories of Namibia."
