Former model Tyra Banks stood out in gorgeous, shimmering gold as she posed on the red carpet at the 2014 Flawsome Ball held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York. She had also brought her mother Carolyn London along for support.
Tyra Banks has announced Disney's 2000 film 'Life-Size' has a sequel in the works but it is not yet clear if co-star Lindsay Lohan will also be returning to the project.
Former American model Tyra Banks starred in Disney's 'Life-Size' thirteen years ago and she recently announced that there is a sequel in the works.
The family fantasy film, which starred a young, and innocent, Lindsay Lohan, was originally made-for-TV but proved a hit with Disney Chanel viewers.
The tale follows 'Casey Stuart', a grieving young teen who is struggling to overcome her mother's death and attempts to bring her back to life with the help of a magic book.
'Pirates of the Caribbean' star Orlando Bloom is snapped leaving a New York theatre following his debut Broadway performance as Romeo in the opening night of 'Romeo and Juliet'. He can be seen signing programmes for the awaiting fans and even stopping to sign the odd ones he missed as he walks away.
Kate Upton once again graces the cover of Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue this year, though the photo shoot hardly took place in the most obvious of destinations. Nope, Upton wasn't shipped off to Hawaii, Florida or California - instead, magazine bosses thought it right to send the world's most famous model to Antarctica.
"It was definitely the hardest shoot I've ever done," Upton, 20, told People magazine, "The best as well - Antarctica is one of the most beautiful place I've ever been to. But I'm from Florida, so it was pretty painful." It ended up paying off, with a 'perfect shot' earning Upton her second consecutive Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover - the first model to land the honour since Tyra Banks covered back-to-back issues in 1996 and 1997. "Everything about the picture is perfect," said Swimsuit Issue editor MJ Day, "The light, the background, the suit. It's different from what we've done in past years, and it was an exciting moment for us to have those photos work out." We find it hard to believe Upton wasn't nailed down for the cover BEFORE the shoot, though Day insists her crew didn't know if they'd get any useable photos. "It was difficult.First of all, it's cold, even though we were there in summer. The windchill was sub-zero - the elements are really working against you."
In the all-important shot, Upton wears a Canada Goose Chilliwack Bomber coat, paired with white Letarte by Lisa Cabrinha bottoms. "I figured, why not a coat?" said Day, "We threw it on, took maybe 100 frames, then moved on."
Kate Upton appears on the cover of Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue, which goes on sale Tuesday. This is the second year in a row she has had the honour, and she's the first woman to enjoy back to back cover shoots since Tyra Banks did it in 1996/97
The mag shared the news with their fans on Twitter, posting, "POLAR BARE: @KateUpton in Antarctica is your 2013 SI Swimsuit Cover Model!" Upton is now expected to appear on The Late Show with David Letterman on Monday night along with nine other swimsuit models to promote the issue.

The network announced the news today (Dec 20) that Berry and Khan would be amongst next years inductees into the honour list, with basketball star Lisa Leslie, music executive Clarence Avant and religious leader T.D. Jakes also being honoured. The ceremony will take place on January 12th in Washington, D.C., at the Warner Theatre. The show special airs on BET a month later on February 11th, with a host of special performances also taking place on the night.
BET Honors are awarded yearly to African Americans who have been recognised by BET as having exceeded in their fields of music, literature, entertainment, education and more. The awards presentation was devised in 2008 by the broadcasting company to coincide with Black History Month, with Alicia Keys, Tyra Banks, Magic Johnson, Tyler Perry, Whitney Houston and Stevie Wonder having been honoured in the past. Next years ceremony will be presented by Gabrielle Union, with the list of performers at the event being held for the time being. At least this gives Halle something to look forward to, should she be fearing her Christmas celebrations go the same way as her Thanksgiving festivities went.
Billboard chart-topper Rihanna is making the foray into the worlds of beauty, fashion and television by hosting her own reality show that challenges designers to make outfits for celebrities. Sound a bit too much like Project Runway? Well, that's because it is, but then there's the celebrity thing. Of course.
Premiering in late 2013, 'Styled to Rock' will see 12 aspiring designers handpicked by the Grammy-award winner. They will be tasked with styling a celebrity guest on each episode (don't tell us: Katy Perry?) with Rihanna and the VIP choosing who should progress to the next round. "Fashion has always played an integral part in my life and career. I am so excited to partner with Style Network and share my creative insight with these 12 designers and give them this opportunity to showcase their work," Rihanna, 24, said in a statement. The series will be a version of the show of the same name that the singer road-toasted over the summer. Airing on Sky Living, that show featured Pussycat Dolls star Nicola Roberts, British fashion designer Henry Holland and Rihanna's stylist Lysa Cooper.
Despite her recent Billboard chart success with Unapologetic, it appears Rihanna is continuing to spread her wings in the entertainment industry and it's not difficult to envisage her filling a similar role to Tyra Banks and Heidi Klum on their respective model and fashion reality shows.

Like any (very) long running television show with a set format, it's important to mix it up every now and again. America's Next Top Model is no exception, where Tyra Banks constantly preaches inclusion and the beauty 'within us', over the past few years she has done special seasons for short models, plus size models and now she's broadened it out further to do let male models compete as well.
Although the skinny 5ft10 girls across the US will be crying out, distraught at one more chance of theirs to make it onto the coveted runways of world renowned and revered designers made that much more difficult, the rest of us will delight in our screens being graced by all variety of beautiful man. This follows a major shake-up earlier this year when Jay Manuel, Jay Alexander and Nigel Barker, all of whom have been involved in the show since season one, did not have their contracts renewed.
The inclusion of men in the new series is not the only big change: the show will also now begin airing in the summer, rather than the spring, in an attempt by CW to up increase original programming, reports E! Online. Their appearance not only supports equal rights and equal opportunities, it also encourages a more tumultuous house dynamic with more possibilities of romantic relationships, jealousy and thus catty fighting that is inherent within the show.

Alice Dellal made a cheeky appearance at last weeks London Fashion Week, gracing the runway wearing a backless apron, with nothing to hide away her bottom.
The nearly nude display was part of designer Pam Hogg's catwalk show at London's Freemason Hall on Tuesday (September 18th), during which Miss Dellal modelled an all white ensemble consisting only of a backless white bib dress, nurse's style headwear and platforms. She later made another revealing walk down the runway, dressed in a hardly there, black dress that hardly covered her breasts or bum - all in the name of fashion.
Hogg is no stranger to a little controversy on the catwalk, as earlier this year she whipped up an unusual ensemble piece for Jaime Winstone, one that drew more gasps and giggles that it did cries of awe and a sense of creative inspiration. Still, she is a designer who is cherished by a number of celebs and has had her original designs worn by the likes of Lady GaGa, Jessie J, Tyra Banks, Rihanna and Claudia Schiffer.
