Tyga has spoken for the first time about his break-up with girlfriend of two years Kylie Jenner, in a surprisingly candid interview with TMZ photographers at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday (May 13th). The couple’s break-up was made public earlier this week, just one week after it was revealed Tyga’s ex Blac Chyna is expecting a child with Kylie’s brother Rob Kardashian.

TygaTyga has broken his silence following his break-up with Kylie Jenner.

When asked by a photographer if their age difference was a factor in the breakup (Tyga is 26 and Kylie is 18), the rapper paused for though before saying, “I think, you know, we're both just focusing on our lives, our individual lives right now, you know?”

“Sometimes things don't work out. But, you know, I love her.” He was then asked if there’d always be love between them, to which he replied, ”For sure.” The topic of his ex Blac Chyna’s relationship with Rob Kardashian was then brought up, just a week after the couple announced they were expecting a child together.

"People, uh, grow and you know, it's time to evolve, you know what I mean," he said. "So everybody should have the opportunity, you know, at love and, you know, to live their life." However when asked if Rob is a good stepfather to King Cairo, Tyga replied, "Don't go too far.”

While no reason has been given for Tyga and Kylie’s break-up, People magazine did report that Rob and Blac’s relationship may have been a factor. "The drama really started to get to Kylie," a source told the magazine.
