TY MURRAY is the latest celebrity to suffer an injury on TV talent contest Dancing With The Stars - the rodeo tough guy was struck in the face with a microphone pack during rehearsals.
The star was left bruised and bloodied on Wednesday (15Apr09) while training with his partner, Chelsie Hightower, after the dancer's sound pack fell off and struck him in the eye.
But Murray is adamant the injury won't stop him competing - he tells People.com, "It was bleeding for a little while and is slightly black and blue but I kept ice on it. Its not a big deal to me because in bull riding you see that from time to time, but I guess people arent used to seeing a little blood in the ballroom.
The latest series of the show has been dogged by injuries - Murray's singer wife Jewel was forced out of the contest after she fractured the tibia in both her legs during rehearsals.
Newly evicted contestant Steve-O was plagued by a back injury throughout his stint on the show, and Holly Madison is currently battling a painful rib injury.
