Tupac Shakur's mother AFENI and the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation have announced the Tupac Legacy Tour, which will feature a line-up of top artists performing songs from the late rapper's catalogue. The 25-date US tour marks the 10th anniversary of the rapper's death, and will kick off in Los Angeles later this year (06). The event will be sponsored by the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation and A+M Entertainment, with a share of the proceeds going to the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts (TASCA) located in Stone Mountain, Georgia. A number of artists have reportedly signed up to appear but the definitive list is yet to be announced. Shakur was 25 years old when he was gunned down in 1996 after attending a boxing match in Las Vegas, Nevada. No one has ever been charged with his murder.
