Murder Inc record label associate KENNETH 'SUPREME' McGRIFF has been charged with the slaying of a New York City drug dealer.
The notorious narcotics lord will face charges for executing rival drugs peddler Troy Singleton at his upcoming trial in March (06). McGriff was arraigned last week (26JAN06), alongside five others.
Singleton, whose name features on 50 CENT song GHETTO QU'RAN, died after being shot five times on 28 October 2001.
McGriff is also charged with killing rapper ERIC 'E MONEY BAGS' SMITH in May 2001.
The Supreme Team leader now faces two charges of murder and multiple counts of money laundering and drug dealing.
McGriff helped music mogul Irv Gotti found record label Murder Inc in 1997. The company's name was later changed to The Inc, in a bid to distance artists including Ashanti and Ja Rule from negative publicity.
Badu used her opening monologue at Sunday night’s awards to tell Azalea, “what you doin' is definitely not rap.”
It's Monday morning and my bones hurt. I'm tired, hung-over, and there's a slight ringing in my ears.
