* DRIVER CONFIRMS PREGNANCY Actress MINNIE DRIVER has confirmed reports she is expecting her first child during an interview on U.S. TV. The Good Will Hunting star sparked rumours of a pregnancy after she was photographed leaving a Los Angeles clinic last month (Feb08). The 38-year-old was forced to admit the news on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Thursday night (13Mar08) after Leno commented she had gained weight. Asked by the host if she was pregnant, Driver replied, Yes, I am. The star told Leno she loves being pregnant, more than anything else, but did not like morning sickness. She adds, I don't know why they call it morning sickness. I am sick morning, noon and night, but it's a fair trade-off. Driver did not say who the father was. * SPIDER-MAN WEDS SPIDER-MAN TOBEY MAGUIRE has wed JENNIFER MEYER, the mother of his baby daughter, in a secret Hawaiian ceremony. The couple exchanged vows in a romantic Labor Day (03Sep07) sunset ceremony on Maui. The low-key nuptials were attended by a small group of close friends, according to U.S. magazine In Touch Weekly. Maguire and Meyer, the daughter of Universal Studios executive Ron Meyer, have been dating since 2003. They announced their engagement last summer (06), when Meyer was four months pregnant. The couple became parents to baby Ruby in November (06). Sources tell In Touch, Maguire's best friend Leonardo DiCaprio was invited to the wedding, but was unable to attend because of filming commitments. * BOWIE & STING'S NEW BURLESQUE CLUB FINDS A HOME A once-famous New York Mafia haunt is set to become the site of DAVID BOWIE and STING's new burlesque club. The odd couple has teamed up with Los Angeles club boss Ivan Kane with a view to replicating his Forty Deuce hang-outs in the Big Apple. And, after a series of false starts, the trio has settled on a new home at the former Little Charlie's Clam Bar in Little Italy. At one point, in December (06), it looked as if the new Forty Deuce would never open in New York after a Manhattan landlord pulled out of a deal to lease one of his West 21st Street buildings to the trio at the last minute. The new club, which is being built at a reported cost of $4 million (GBP2 million), will compliment Kane's Forty Deuce clubs in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
