The Scots TURN singer is currently spending a week in the troubled African country after contributing to Band Aid 20's single DO THEY KNOW IT'S CHRISTMAS?, which is raising money for the people of Sudan.
Healy said yesterday (15DEC04), "The main thing is water. Everywhere that we have wandered, every single person we have met, the first thing that we have asked is: 'What are the conditions like here?'
"And they just don't have any water. We went to a borehole yesterday, which is a man-made hole in the ground."
"The water is absolutely minging (disgusting) but people come from fours hours away to drink from it."
