The Extraordinary Adventures Of Adele Blanc-Sec

Maverick French film director, writer, and producer Luc Besson takes us on another wonderful journey through an imaginary world in his adaptation of 'The Extraordinary Adventures Of Adele Blanc-Sec' a much loved 1970's Franco-Belgian comic adventure written and illustrated by Jacques Tardi.

The setting is Paris, France. The year is 1912. Our protagonist Adele Blanc-Sec is an intrepid young investigative journalist who will go to any lengths to achieve her goal.

Returning to Paris after a trip to Egypt in search of an ancient Pharaoh's mummified doctor Adele Blanc-Sec's help is needed by her friend Professor Esperandieu and her city.

Paris is in total panic! A 136 million-year old pterodactyl egg on a shelf in the Natural History Museum has mysteriously hatched, and the pre-historic bird is terrorising the city from the skies.

Nothing is too much to take on board for Adele Blanc-Sec, whose amazing adventure reveals many more extraordinary surprises...
