This Is It was planned to be Michael Jackson's farewell tour, a final thank you to his fans. The world mourned his death just weeks before the first show should've taken place at The O2 Arena in the UK. 'Michael Jackson's This Is It' shows unseen footage from MJ's rehearsals. The film will also include special 3-D footage which was planned to be shown at the concerts. The idea of This Is It is to show a new side to Michael Jackson that many documentaries have failed to capture before.
The film is only being planned on shown worldwide over a course of two weeks, the first date is 28th October 2009. Tickets go on sale on 27th September 2009.
