Female Agents is based of real events that happened in World War II, it follows a story not well known to many, the story of female intelligence. Set in 1944, the decision to invade was made at at the Teheran conference on November 28th 1943 the planning began in January 1944 and the Normandy Landings took place in early spring 1944, this left the Allies little time to get ready.
Louise fled to England when her husband was executed as he was part of the French Resistance, she is quickly recruited by the British government as a intelligence officer, by Special Operations Executives (SOE), the project was of such importance it was over seen by Winston Churchill himself.
Her first mission is to help save an agent who's been caught by German soldiers, Louise must assemble a unit of women to help her complete her tasks, she stops at nothing to get the right women for the job, even if that means getting pardons from prison, lying or even blackmail.
The women soon receive new orders from their SOE in the UK, their new task is to eradicate Colonel Heindrich (Moritz Bleibtreu), the head of Nazi counter-intelligence.
They are five ordinary women, destined to become heroines.
