John Crowley is a salt of the earth family man, working his way up the business ladder, he's finally getting to the position he wishes to be at but when his two youngest children are diagnosed with a fatal illness John must walk away from his job. Supported by his wife Aileen, John contacts a doctor and scientist called Robert Stonehill, his previous work has gone someway to discovering a cure for the fatal disease Johns children are suffering with. The two join forces, Robert driven by the need to prove his theories and John a loving father who must save his children, fighting the medical establishment they're both hoping for a medical miracle.
