San Diego's biggest anchors Ron Burgundy, Brian Fantana, Brick Tamland and Champ Kind are back with even more shenanigans than we saw in 2004 prequel 'Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy'.
'Anchorman: The Legend Continues' is funnier, cruder and generally more inappropriate. Little has been revealed about the plot apart from the fact that all the supporting cast from the 2004 comedy have been signed on to the sequel. The first film grossed more than $85 million from a $26 million budget; it wouldn't be foolish to assume number two will do even better!
'Anchorman' fans will be clutching the edge of their seats in excitement wondering what high jinks could possibly arise in the sequel after Ron and Veronica were nearly been eaten by a bear, Ron's dog Baxter miraculously survived being punched off a bridge by an angry biker and, the most baffling of all, Ron and Veronica's volatile relationship also survived.
Starring Will Ferrell and 'Evan Almighty' protagonist Steve Carell, 'Anchorman 2' is produced by the comedy movie treasure Judd Apatow who is famous for producing titles such as 'The 40-Year-Old Virgin', 'Knocked Up', 'Superbad' and 'Bridesmaids'.
'Anchorman 2' is set for cinema release in 2013.
Starring: Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell and David Koechner
Director: Adam McKay
