Country star Trace Adkins is endorsing new trucking technology which will help keep long-distance drivers cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The CHROME singer has signed up as a spokesman for IdleAire - a system that allows truck drivers to maintain heating and air conditioning in their cabs without having to keep their engines running. Adkins became a fan of the new system when his tour bus driver told him about the new device and now he'll videotape a wide variety of messages for delivery to drivers. The IdleAire system is a simple window adapter that will allow truckers to keep their fuel costs down - and help the environment.
