Yet another scandal at the McDermott household.
Tory Spelling is in the rough – more specifically, her marriage is in the rough, after it was revealed that husband of seven years Dean McDermott had cheated on her. At least that’s the story according to Us Weekly, who first broke the news. According to the gossip mag, the “incident” occurred earlier in December, when McDermott was hosting Chopped Canada in Toronto. After the show, 40-year-old McDermott invited Emily Goodhand, a new acquaintance he had met that day, to his room at the Fairmont Royal Park Hotel, where they had sex.
If there is trouble at the McDermott household, they aren't letting it ruin Christmas.
"He told me he and Tori had a sexless marriage," Goodhand, 28, said for Us Weekly. "I believed him."
The affair then went on for a few more nights, according to the expose. To be fair, there has been speculation that Goodhand (what a name to be involved in a cheating scandal!) might not be telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
McDermott reportedly told the woman that he was in a "sexless marriage".
Whatever the state of their marriage, Spelling and McDermott have four children together, aged 6, 5, 2 and 16 months. Spelling suffered complications with her last pregnancy, which led to her being hospitalized for four months prior to giving birth in August. Then in September, she had to return to the hospital due to complications from her C-section. Here’s hoping that 2014 brings better news for the actress.
Spelling opened up to Us Weekly about the affair.
Spelling has been keeping a stiff upper lip though. Over the holidays she's been busy posting borderline obnoxious amounts of family holiday photos. Apparently nothing can ruin the holidays at the Spelling-McDermott household.
