The executors of Tony Scott's estate have rejected a $1 million (£625,000) creditor's claim filed by the director's talent agency representatives for unpaid commissions.
Lawyers for Creative Artists Agency (Caa) lodged the documents in Los Angeles Superior Court in January (13), alleging company bosses were owed 10 per cent of Scott's fees for Denzel Washington movies Man on Fire, The Taking of Pelham 123, Deja Vu and Unstoppable.
At the time of the filing, a Scott family spokesperson insisted the legal action was standard procedure, adding, "The Scott estate has every intention to pay as soon as possible. Tony and Caa had a wonderful relationship."
However, it appears Scott's estate representatives are not prepared to part with the big sum - they dismissed the claim without explanation last week (08Mar13).
Scott jumped to his death from a bridge in California last August (12).
