Toni Braxton had to rely on songwriters to pen most of her comeback album, because she's too happy to write edgy material.

The singer is about to release LIBRA, her debut LP with new record label Blackground/Universal Records, after splitting with mentor La Reid's ARISTA records, the label that discovered her.

She explains, "I didn't write as much, because I usually write what's going on in my life most of the time, but I'm happy married with children and no one really cares about that.

"Unfortunately that's not considered "Sexy" - people want drama."
