Tommy Lee is set to star in a new travel show for the cable channel Syfy.
Tommy Lee, the American rocker and Motley Crue drummer, is developing a new television series titled 'Culture Shock With Tommy Lee', according to the Hollywood Reporter.Back in 2004, Lee starred in NBC's six-episode series 'Tommy Lee Goes to College', in which the rocker visited the University of Nebraska and tried out for the school's marching band. In the forthcoming program, the 48-year-old will attempt to uncover the rituals, mysteries and symbols of secret societies. Split into one hour episodes, the series is set to be produced by Itv Studios America with Lee Stubner and Carl Stubner as executive producers. To celebrate his band's 30th year anniversary, Tommy Lee recently announced that Motley Crue would tour with BRET MICHAELS band Poison and the legendary New York Dolls later this year.
Michaels has made a similar foray into the world of reality television, appearing in the likes of 'Celebrity Apprentice', 'Don't Forget The Lyrics' and 'Rock of Love with Bret Michaels'. Tommy Lee's last television appearance came in 2010 when he guest starred on Fox's animated show 'Family Guy'.
