Drummers Tommy Lee and Phil Collins have donated autographed drum sticks to a new People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) campaign against fast food chain KFC.

The drum sticks will be auctioned to raise funds for PETA's Kentucky Fried Cruelty campaign to stop the company allegedly abusing chickens at factory farms.

PETA complain KFC "cut the beaks off baby chickens without painkillers, breed and drug chickens to grow so fat that their legs actually become crippled under their own weight, and scald millions of chickens to death every year in feather-removal tanks in the slaughterhouse, all while they're still conscious and able to feel pain."

Lee and Collins join a star-studded list of PETA supporters - Sir Paul McCartney, the Beastie Boys, Good Charlotte, and the Black Eyed Peas all back the anti-KFC campaign.
