Tommy Lee Jones will play Meryl Streep's husband in 'Great Hope Springs'.
The 'Men In Black' actor will be directed by 'The Devil Wears Prada' filmmaker David Frankel on the project, about a middle-aged married couple who realise their relationship is on the slide.
Steve Carell is also set to star in the comedy as marriage therapist Dr. Field, who works at a retreat where the couple have gone in the hope of saving their life together.
The movie gets under way in August, following the wrapping of shooting for Meryl on Margaret Thatcher biopic 'The Iron Lady' - for which there has been much talk of an Oscar nomination - and Tommy Lee's completion of work on 'Men in Black III'.
This year the Oscar-winning actor will be seen in 'Captain America: The First Avenger' and will shoot the role of Thaddeus Stevens in Steven Spielberg's biopic about 16th US President Abraham Lincoln.
