Spider-Man is set to star in 'Captain America: Civil War'.

The role of the iconic comic book character was recently handed to Tom Holland, and the 19-year-old British actor is to feature alongside the likes of Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr and Scarlett Johansson in the much-anticipated new Marvel movie.

'Captain America: Civil War' will, in fact, be the most star-studded movie in Marvel history, with Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Rudd all set to appear in the film.

What's more, the movie will serve as an introduction for Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther and Daniel Brühl as Baron Zemo.

Meanwhile, Mark Ruffalo revealed recently he's been told by Robert Downey Jr. he'll also star in 'Captain America: Civil War'.

Speaking earlier this month, he said: ''If Robert Downey, Jr. says I'm in 'Captain America', I'm in 'Captain America' dammit. And I will wait for the day that my call sheet shows up at my doorstep or my script.

''At this point, I'm told that I'm in it by Robert, which I'll take as biblical, but I just haven't heard or seen from production yet.''
