Tom Hanks' wife Rita Wilson has taken on a new project - she's helping to launch an Internet news website aimed at the over-40s.
The Sleepless in Seattle actress will serve as the producer and editor-in-chief of Huff/Post 40, when it goes live in August (11).
The name of the site was selected as a play on words to accommodate the parent company, AOL Huffington Post Media Group, and the project's intended audience - 40-plus adults.
Arianna Huffington, the organisation's president, insists Wilson's passion and humour make her the "perfect godmother" for the job.
Wilson has previously served as a regular contributor to a variety of U.S. publications including O, The Oprah Magazine, and Harper's Bazaar.
