It's been a bizarre week for Tom Cruise in the UK, with the Hollywood star having just finalised his divorce from Katie Holmes. Earlier this week, we brought you the news that Cruise had turned up at an Indian restaurant in St Albans and ordered a Chicken Tikka and Lobster, well, things just got even weirder.
The actor turned up at swanky London club Chinawhite to watch his son Connor perform his first ever DJ set outside the U.S on Thursday (August 23, 2012). However, things got off to a bad start, with an insider at the venue revealing that the protective parent "went into the DJ booth and made sure it was stripped of all alcohol before Connor's set. He strictly controlled what came in and out". After Connor's set, Tom left via a shop entrance on Oxford Street to avoid the paparazzi. He later left the country by private jet, en route to Zurich. He won't be out of the UK for too long though, as he is scheduled to begin filming his latest sci-fi movie All You Need Is Kill in London later this year.
On Friday, Tmz.com reported how Katie Holmes will not receive a lump-sum payment from Cruise as part of their divorce settlement. However, she will get around $400,000 per year in child support for their daughter Suri. This will not cover medical bills, trips to the dentist, education and any other extra-curricular activities. Tom Cruise's son Connor DJ's all over the world, playing an "eclectic" mix of music.
