Dr Dre just spent $40 million on a house - and not just any house.
Dr Dre has lodged on offer of around $40 million for Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen's Los Angeles mansion, according to TMZ.com. Tom and supermodel Gisele listed the 18,700 sq. ft Brentwood estate for $50 million after barely spending any time living in the place. They basically built the house from scratch, spending $11.75 million on the building in 2008 before severely redesigning the place to their own tastes.

Insiders say there were "multiple interested parties ready to put offers on the house" but Dre swooped first with a solid offer, which Tom and Gisele decided to accept. Sources say the deal is not yet closed, but it's very close.

The football player and the model have set their sights on Brooklyn turf.
Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen are selling their 14,000-square-foot Brentwood self-build amidst plans to relocate to the other side of the States. The American football player and the Brazilian model are said to have spent $20 million constructing the palatial property which above all other features, is eco-friendly. The wealthy pair could be set to scoop a hefty profit if the mansion sells for its current $50 million asking price.
Tom Brady & Gisele Bundchen Are Selling Their Mega Mansion For $50 Million.
Completed in 2013 after five years of construction, the breathtakingly huge mansion is basically a fortress, boasting a longdrive, several turrets, hundreds of trees surrounding its perimeter and - the piece-de-resistance - a moat festooned with koi carp. Listed with the Westside Estate Agency, the house features six bedrooms, a gourmet kitchen, a library, a state-of-the-art gym, a swimming pool, a lift, a butler's room and several fountains.
Seen from the sky on the Detroit Free Press, Tom Brady's mansion that he's sharing with wife and three children, is truly enormous. They originally bought the 22,000 square foot abode for $11m, but it has since gone under some major renovation work. It now has a back yard "the size of a small football field'. And what would a Los Angeles home be without a pool? Theirs goes all the way around a corner of the house. There's also a custom made play area for their three young kids; John Edward Thomas Moynahan, from an earlier relationship of Brady's, plus his children with Bundchen, Benjamin Rein Brady and daughter Vivian Lake Brady. Baby Vivian was born late last year and Gisele officially became the most beautiful pregnant lady ever. According to BostInno, the property also has 8 bedrooms, a spa, a weights room and an extensive wine cellar. Sounds perfect.
The real question is why on earth the couple have a moat? Is it out of some kind of need to keep out their medieval foes or whether it's simply in a bid to make sure Vivian and Giselle feel like princesses. We're guessing the latter given the size of quarterback Brady.
Supermodel Gisele Bundchen revealed, via her Facebook page, that she had given birth to an adorable baby girl, that she has named (a surprisingly normal name) Vivian Lake (well, partly normal anyway). The revelation came in the form of a beautiful photograph showing her tiny baby's hand, clinging onto her thumb, and was accompanied with the following message:
"We feel so lucky to have been able to experience the miracle of birth once again and are forever grateful for the opportunity to be the parents of another little angel. Vivian Lake was born at home on December 5. She is healthy and full of life.
Thank you all for your support and well wishes. We wish you and your families many blessings."

What could be more festive than the joyous occasion that is that birth of a child? Supermodel Gisele has a lot to be thankful for with her new little bundle of joy that she has named Vivian Lake after giving birth to her on December 5th 2012. She officially confirmed the news on her Facebook page by posting the following happy message: 'We feel so lucky to have been able to experience the miracle of birth once again and are forever grateful for the opportunity to be parents of another little angel. Vivian Lake was born at home on December 5. She is healthy and full of life. Thank you all for your support and well wishes. We wish you and your families many blessings.' The note accompanied a sweet picture of her holding the baby's hand, as if marvelling at how tiny it is.
This is Gisele and Tom's second child after giving birth to their son Benjamin in 2009 and who, incidentally, is soon to celebrate his third birthday at the weekend. The model has previously gushed about the joys of motherhood, insisting that she just loves it. 'It takes some adjusting, but it is so, so wonderful', she said. 'My son is so beautiful, I love him so much.'
Given Mr. Brady's vast achievements of shame, I can't imagine he's listed high in Harvard's list of successful alumni. After all, his artistic mishaps don't end with The Hot Chick; he also inspired a pathetic flop called The Animal that proved just how stupid American filmmakers perceive their audiences. Brady also assumes partial responsibility for the failed television comedy Men Behaving Badly. From a guy who attended Harvard, I expect Emmys and Oscars, not cancellations and Rob Schneider!

Modern comedy comes from its ability to not take its story or its characters seriously. The Farrelly brothers and Woody Allen have taught us that. Recent failures like Joe Dirt and Schneider's last film Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo owe themselves to a seriousness they try to create by treating their main characters as martyrs for the audience to sympathize with and pity. The Animal does no such thing, avoiding this common mistake totally and developing into an enjoyable and hilarious 90 minutes.
