Tinie Tempah, Marina and the Diamonds and Scouting For Girls have been confirmed to appear at the BT Digital Music awards.

The artists are the first from the line-up of stars who are nominated in this year's ceremony - which celebrates The Rising importance of the internet in music - who have signed up to appear on the awards night in London.

Rapper Tinie is nominated in five award categories, and is an early favourite to scoop up on the night. Both singer Marina and the Diamonds and rapper Professor Green are nominated in The Breakthrough Artist of the Year category, while Professor Green also picks up a nomination in the Best Newcomer category.

Scouting for Girls have a nomination in the Best Radio Show or Podcast category. Other artists to receive nominations include Dizzee Rascal, Cheryl Cole, Gorillaz, Plan B, Chipmunk and Taio Cruz.

The awards will take place at London's Roundhouse Venue on September 30.
