Ahead of her stint on 'Saturday Night Live,' the returning host poked fun at her recent exposure at the Emmys
Tina Fey has let it all hang out again! This time though, she did it on purpose, as the award-winning comic writer mocked her apparent 'nip slip' at the at the Emmys last weekend (22 Sept.) during a promo clip for her upcoming appearance on Saturday Night Live. Fey is returning to the show where she made her name to host the first episode of the 39th season of the variety program when it returns this Saturday, 28 September.
Fey and her troublesome dress at the 65th Emmy Awards
Standing alongside curent SNL mainstay Kenan Thompson, the two were whipping up anticipation for the new season of the show when at the end of the promo Kenan promised "There will be no more wardrobe malfunctions like at the Emmys," before turning to Fey and adding, "Unless you want to do one?"
The Emmy-winner then turns to Thompson and replies, "No, it's not gonna happen. It's under control," at which point she opens up her arms and lets her blazer fly open, revealing her bare (blurred out) chest. With her sweater puppies on display, she turns to Kenan again and reassures him "Not gonna happen again. I'm pretty sure."
SNL returns after a summer absence for it's 39th season with Fey hosting and Arcade Fire providing the musical relief for the night. Fey is the first of three already announced hosts for the returning show, with Miley Cyrus lending her services to the show, as both host and musical guest, the following week. Bruce Willis will host the third week, with Katy Perry providing the musical accompaniment.
