Country star Tim Mcgraw pulled out of performing at the Academy of Country Music Awards hours before the show after a furious row with the event's producers over his set.
The singer was scheduled to take the stage at the Las Vegas event on Sunday (05Apr09) but stormed out of rehearsals the previous day over a reported dispute about his production design.
His publicist has not addressed the cause of the argument but confirms MCGraw withdrew due to a "major disagreement" with TV bosses.
MCGraw remains slated to perform at Monday's (06Apr09) tribute to George Strait, who will be honoured by the Academy of Country Music as Artist of the Decade.
