Tiger Woods has recruited American musicians Keith Urban and John Mayer to play a charity concert.
TIGER WOODS, the former world number-one golfer, has enlisted the help of country musician KEITH URBAN and singer-songwriter JOHN MAYER, to play his a special charity event in Las Vegas.'Tiger Jam', which will take place on 30th April 2011 at the Mandalay Bay Events Centre in Las Vegas, has been set up to raise money for 'The Tiger Woods Foundation'. The golfer said he was delighted that the GRAMMY AWARD winning musicians could help the cause, saying, "I'm thrilled these two talented musicians are joining us for Tiger Jam. We have had so much success with this event over the last 13 years, raising more than $12 million for programs of my Foundation, and we are excited to continue that tradition". As well as the live music, the evening will also feature auctions for "one-of-a-kind" luxury items. Tickets for the concert go on sale on 12th February 2011 and start at $70.
It was reported this week that work on TIGER WOODS' exclusive golf resort in Dubai has been halted indefinitely. The UK's Guardian newspaper reports that the $1.1 billion golf and property development was initially due to open in late 2009 but developers have now ceased production.
