The Wanted are eyeing a joint assault on the charts with Rita Ora after recording a duet with the new music sensation.
The Hot Right Now singer has become one of the biggest stars on the U.K. music scene after opening for acts including Coldplay and Drake this year (12), and inking a deal with Jay Z's ultra-exclusive label Roc Nation.
Now Ora is joining forces with chart-topping band The Wanted for a collaboration, which is slated to appear on the Glad You Came hitmakers' upcoming album.
The Wanted's Siva Kaneswaran tells Bbc's Newsbeat, "We've been working with Rita Ora, (British rapper) Dappy, and LMFAO... (Rita is) a lovely girl. I went in to see her and I did a song with her, but she wasn't big when we worked with her. She was just on the cusp and now she's just exploded, and I'm very proud of her. She's a very nice girl and it's good to see good people doing well."
The Wanted's next album is scheduled for release later this year (12).
