The Wanted singers Nathan Sykes and Tom Parker came to the rescue of a fan who fainted at Glasgow Airport before banging her head and suffering a seizure. The group were arriving at the airport on a bus after their set at the 'T in the Park' festival, when they were spotted by a group of teenagers, reports the UK's Sun newspaper.
One of the girls got so excited that she fainted, hitting her head on a wall in the process. Noticing that she had gone into seizure, Nathan and Tom stopped the tour bus and got out to make sure she was ok - despite being late for their flight. A quick thinking Nathan put the fan into the recovery position, while Tom called an ambulance. He told the UK's Sun newspaper, "It was as we pulled up at the airport that one of our fans collapsed on the floor. Nath stayed by her side while I called 999.It was pretty frightening, but anyone would have done the same." He later wrote on Twitter, "Hope the girl was alright at the airport".
After achieving success in the U.S (their song Glad You Came was used on Fox comedy-drama Glee), The Wanted are now managed by Scooter Braun - the man who masterminded Justin Bieber's rise to fame. Singer Jay recently told the Scottish Daily Record, "We're planning to tour with Justin. We have started writing in the last few months and some stuff there is Justin-worthy".
