Former The Vines drummer Hamish Rosser has joined Wolfmother.
The Australian rocker played with the group for nearly 10 years before his departure in 2011, but he has now found another gig with Andrew Stockdale's band.
Rosser will make his debut with Wolfmother this week (beg12Mar12) when they kick off a tour with Lenny Kravitz on Saturday (17Mar12).
He tells the Sydney Daily Telegraphy, "I'm stoked. These songs are fun to play - they're right up my alley because it's my style of music, because heavy rock is where I come from."
Wolfmother are also due to play a number of dates in Europe over the summer (12), including a set at Britain's Sonisphere music festival, but Rosser may have to sit out the shows as his wife Kristy Ryan is due to give birth to their first child in the coming months.
He adds, "It will be touch and go to get back in time."
