The group has been forced to scrap a Canadian tour after MCCracken was denied entry into the country earlier this month (Jun12).
He tells Rolling Stone magazine, "They won't let me in. They said not for 10 years. It's weird, they're like, 'You need to rehabilitate these crimes before you come back to Canada.' I'm like, 'What does that mean?'"
The rocker insists Canadian authorities have blown his past indiscretions out of proportion, adding, "When I say criminal record, I'm talking teensy, eensy misdemeanors they still have on my record from, like, 2001 and 2003 - trespassing."

American rockers The Used have cancelled all of their upcoming European tour dates after parting ways with their management team.
The band was due to play a series of shows across the continent, including an appearance at Britain's Download festival in June (10), as well as shows in Russia.
But the musicians have scrapped all their gigs to focus on restructuring their team of representatives after splitting from their longtime managers.
A statement from the band, given to Metal Hammer, reads, "It is with great regret that we have been forced to cancel our upcoming appearances in Europe, U.K. and Russia, due to unforeseen circumstances resulting in a parting of ways with our management team.

The Used frontman Bert Mccracken isn't as tough as his rock star persona - revealing he frequently breaks down in tears.
The U.S. rocker, who once dated Kelly Osbourne, says he regularly finds himself overwhelmed with emotion, crying both on and off stage.
He says, "I cry all the time. In fact, I cried when we were at the Islington Academy. I got a bit teary-eyed at the crowd's reaction to our show. We were playing a song called On My Own and the response from the audience just got to me. Sometimes the love in the room is so overwhelming that I just cry. I'm not ashamed of that."
The Used frontman Bert Mccracken once paid $160 (GBP80) to score some marijuana - but ended up with a bloody tissue instead.
The U.S. rocker, who comes from a strict Mormon home, recalls how he had a hard time finding the drug in London, scouring Camden Town before he was sold the nasty surprise.
He says, "I once spent GBP80 on a drop of blood. It was a rolled up block of tape, inside which was more tape, some tissue, some tape, some tissue. I thought I was buying marijuana.
"Finally got down to the final piece of tissue and it had been stained with a single drop blood. That was pretty weird."
The Used rocker BERT MCCRACKEN has been forced to cancel the group's summer tour dates after doctors ordered him to rest his vocal chords and undergo surgery.
Medics have discovered a node on one of his vocal chords and have recommended treatment and rest for the next month.
The news has prompted The Used to scrap shows planned for June and July (07), which means they'll no longer be taking part in the Van's Warped Tour.
Doctors are expecting a full recovery and insist MCCracken, who once dated Kelly Osbourne, will be able to sing again in "about five weeks".
In a statement, MCCracken's bandmate Quinn Allman says, "The band is incredibly disappointed but we promise to return to touring in the USA in early September with headlining dates."
A number of new acts have been added to the Carling Weekend bill, including a few old favourites alongside newer bands.
Jimmy Eat World and Eagles of Death Metal will play the main stage, along with the Long Blondes, Little Man Tate and Gym Class Heroes.
The Shins, the Pipettes, Dead 60s, The Used and Hellogoodbye make up the rest of the new acts confirmed for the main stage.
The Radio 1/NME Stage has also had some new additions with the Horrors, the Enemy, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly and Jamie T all signed up to play.
Indie disco favourites New Young Pony Club and the hotly-tipped Hadouken have also been added to the line-up.
All of the new acts join an already impressive bill of Razorlight, Kings Of Leon, Arcade Fire, Bloc Party and Interpol.
California legends Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Smashing Pumpkins will headline two of the days while new-rave heroes the Klaxons will headline the Radio 1/NME Stage.
The Carling Weekend will take place simultaneously in both Reading and Leeds from August 24th to August 26th.

30 Seconds to Mars lead singer Jared Leto broke his nose while performing with his band in Texas on Thursday night (01MAR07).
The 35-year-old singer/actor was playing a gig in El Paso when he ran into the crowd and was rushed by fans.
Leto also hurt his foot and suffered minor injuries to his face and body.
According to MTV News, Leto managed to finish the show and even called it one of the best of the tour.
After completing the concert he checked into hospital to make sure he wouldn't need surgery for any of his injuries.
Tour organiser KEVIN LYMAN says, "I've been producing shows for 25 years and this was one of the scariest moments I have witnessed.
"We hope Jared's injuries are all minor and that he has a speedy recovery."
30 Seconds to Mars were performing as part of the TASTE OF CHAOS tour, which also features bands including The Used and Senses Fail.
Actor-turned-rocker Jared Leto turned down the opportunity to star in Clint Eastwood's upcoming war movie FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS to play support US band The Used on tour.
Leto, who has starred in Requiem for a Dream and Panic Room, has no regrets turning down the legendary film-maker, because he had already committed to promoting his band 30 SECONDS TO MARS' second album A BEAUTIFUL LIE.
He says, "I look back at the things I had to say no to, and no one in their right mind...
"Clint Eastwood wanted me for Flags Of Our Fathers last year (05). And I had to say no, because we were booked to open for The Used. It wasn't even the main support slot, but the third band on the bill.
"People did not understand how I could say no to Clint. But the record was coming out and I was committed."
Drummer BRANDEN STEINECKERT has been kicked out of US rockers The Used midway through the recording of the group's third album.
In a joint statement, bandmates BERT MCCRACKEN, who briefly dated Kelly Osbourne, JEPH HOWARD and QUINN ALLMAN have confirmed Steineckert's departure, explaining they felt the need to move forward without him.
The statement reads, "We wish Branden well, and owe a great deal of gratitude towards him for his hard work over the years. We could not have gotten this far without him.
"We all wish much happiness and success in Branden's future endeavours (sic) - wherever they may lead."
The Utah-based group insists the drummer's departure won't halt their plans to release a new album early next year (07).
He says, "It's so lame. That s**tty band was supposed to play and they cancelled. I call them Evan-offence."04/07/2003 09:09
