The reformed The Stone Roses are on the top of Glastonbury festival boss Michael Eavis' wish list for the return of the summer event in 2013.
The Somerset farmer-turned-promoter has revealed he is pursuing The Stone Roses as headliners and was spotted watching Ian Brown and his bandmates at the Sziget festival in Hungary on Friday (10Aug12).
He tells NME.com, "I'm very keen on The Stone Roses - I always have been... Are they a possible headliner for next year? I think it is possible, yeah."
There was no Glastonbury this year (12).
The Stone Roses reformed last year (11) for a 2012 summer festival tour, which included historic shows at Manchester's Heaton Park.
