Britney Spears finds judging on 'x factor' ''electrifying''.

The 'Hold It Against Me' hitmaker - who joined the show alongside Demi Lovato after Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul were sacked after one season - admits she was terrified when she first signed up but eventually got into The Rhythm of the talent search.

Speaking on 'The Ellen Degeneres Show', she said: ''I was really nervous. You have all these people behind you and you know they're rooting on you. It's a really exciting, electrifying thing to do.''

She said: ''I would definitely be dead if not for music. I prayed very fervently as a small child that God would give me a way out.

Viggo Mortensen believes an actor's performance can be ruined by editing.

The 'A Dangerous Method' actor revealed he was shocked when watching a film he had made to find that the director had cut his lines and put in a whole new sentence by putting together words he had said in other scenes.

He explained to Shortlist magazine: "A director decided he didn't like me saying what he had shot and took words I'd said on other scenes and cobbled a new sentence together. I was stunned."

Berlin Film Festival Selects Opening Film

The French film Les Adieux à la Reine ( Farewell, My Queen ) has been selected as the opening-night film for this year's Berlin Film Festival. Directed by Benoît Jacquot, the film stars Diane Kruger as Marie Antoinette during the first days of the French Revolution as mobs threaten to storm Versailles. The movie focuses on the palace's servants, including the queen's ladies-in-waiting -- in particular, Sidonie Laborde, played by Léa Seydoux, the woman appointed to read to the queen. It had previously been announced that the film had been selected to compete for Berlin's top prize, the Golden Bear award. It will be screened at the Berlinale Palast on February 9. In a statement about his work, Jacquot said, "The film will move at The Rhythm of Sidonie the reader's heartbeat, more and more agitated, as disaster spreads."

The singer and her husband Nick Cannon welcomed Moroccan and his Twin Sister Monroe into the world in April and they claim their little boy is already showing some musical talent.

'America's Got Talent' host Nick said: "My son knows how to play the drums. He actually knows how to keep The Rhythm and time. It's really crazy. They'll definitely have some skill in that area."

She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "He flew Asa and I out to New York to audition in front of him and I spoke in a British accent the whole time.

Beady Eye have invited Bonehead to join them on their next album.

The group - which is made up of former Oasis members Liam Gallagher, Gem Archer, Chris Sharrock and Andy Bell - would have no problem working with The Rhythm guitarist, real name Paul Arthurs, who quit Oasis in 1999 and was replaced by Gem.

Asked if they would record a track with him, Liam said: "Yeah man, why not? He's gotta bring his Freddie Starr wig along with him though. He's a geezer Bonehead, he's been to see some of the gigs."

The actor is expected to reprise his role as Dr. Jonathan Crane/The Scarecrow - the villain he played in 'Batman Begins' and 'The Dark Knight' - in 'The Dark Knight Rises' after he was spotted visiting the set of the film this week.

Posting on a fan message board, user MagnusRex revealed: "Cillian Murphy is returning in TDKR. I couldn't take a picture of him because there are a ton of security guards, but he's definitely there. You can take this as 100% legit fact. Scarecrow is in TDKR.(sic)"
