Ten years ago today (27OCT16) Amy Winehouse released her second album Back to Black, which was to become her final record following her untimely death in 2011. The follow-up to her debut Frank was a critical and commercial success around the world, making singer-songwriter Winehouse a household name and thrusting her into the limelight. It topped the charts in the star's native Britain and reached number two in the U.S. Lead single Rehab became her only top 10 hit in America. The hugely personal album, produced by Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi, also spawned tracks You Know I'm No Good, Back to Black, Tears Dry on Their Own and Love Is a Losing Game. In 2008 it won Best Pop Vocal Album at the Grammy Awards and Rehab was named Record of the Year and Song of the Year. She won five of her six nominations but was unable to attend and perform at the ceremony as her visa was denied while she was seeking treatment for drug addiction. Sales of Back to Black surged after her death, aged 27, with the album even returning to the number one in some European countries. As of late 2015, it had sold 3.59 million copies in the U.K., making it the 13th best-selling album of all time in the country. ** Amy Winehouse with her dad Mitch Winehouse The Q Awards 2006 held at The Grosvenor House hotel - press room London, England - 30.10.06 Featuring: Amy Winehouse with her dad Mitch Winehouse Where: London, United Kingdom When: 30 Oct 2006

File Photo Kylie Minogue lands The Voice role Pop superstar {KYLIE MINOGUE} is following her sister into the world of reality TV after landing a role on the panel of Britain's {THE VOICE}. The Australian singer has signed up to star opposite Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am on the British version of the popular singing show, confirming months of rumours linking her to a position on the BBC series. Minogue confirmed the news in a post on her Twitter.com page, writing, "I'm excited to announce that I'll be coaching on BBC The Voice UK next season!" She adds in a statement, "I'm very excited to become a coach on The Voice. I love the concept of the show and have been an avid viewer of both series. The search for new talent is such an important aspect of the music industry and The Voice gives us all a part to play in that." Sir Tom Jones will also be on the panel for the third season of the show. The announcement comes after Minogue reportedly turned down the chance to appear on the Australian version of the talent contest. The Spinning Around star's singer sister Dannii has carved out a new career on the small screen in recent years, appearing on a number of different shows including Britain's The X Factor, Australia's Got Talent, Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model and The X Factor Australia. ** Kylie Minogue The Q Awards 2012 held at the Grosvenor hotel - Arrivals London, England - 22.10.12 Featuring: Kylie Minogue Where: London, United Kingdom When: 22 Oct 2012
